Let me begin my concession speech: Mom knows best. After tallying all the votes, my mother's cakey, chuck-full-of-chocolate "Momma" cookie won.
I'd like to thank my cookie constituents who voted for my sea-salt flecked "Mega" cookie. We share a common taste bud; a core value of under-baked batter. Fear not, my fellow carb-patriots, the "Mega" will be sold alongside the "Momma" at our farmers markets (and online). And to celebrate the "Momma" victory, we will be giving away free samples of the "Momma" at our next markets (July 10 in Tarrytown; July 11 in Piermont).
